My flag quilt is finished, and it's not even July---I can't believe it.
It sure didn't take as long as I expected--I think I'm addicted to handwork. I sure enjoyed it anyway. Now what? Maybe I will work on my apple core table runner; it needs to be quilted and bound.
Oh my goodness, this is BEAUTIFUL!!! I would love permission to show this to my English Paper Piecing class. I just opened a new brick and mortar shop and have gotten Apple Core pieces, but I haven't actually made an Apple Core quilt myself yet. I'd love to show this to my students as an example if you wouldn't mind! I could list your blog with a photo in my etsy shop of the apple core paper pieces for sale as well. As a Marine Mom, I think this is fabulous!
